Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Solid Medio(“we”, “us”) for your use of the Crownfall app (“the app”). By downloading or playing Crownfall, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use Crownfall for your own private, non-commercial entertainment on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, rent, sell, or create derivative works from the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
2. Apple’s standard licence terms
Because Crownfall is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the app. Where these terms and Apple’s standard EULA differ, the terms more protective of you as the user apply. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and that Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use cheats, automation, bots, or modified clients to gain an unfair advantage or manipulate scores, currencies, or leaderboards.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the app or any systems it may connect to.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
4. In-game items and virtual currency
Crownfall may include virtual items and in-game currency (such as coins, gems, shards, and cosmetics). These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you for use within the app only. We may adjust, balance, or discontinue virtual items and currency as part of updating and improving the game. You do not own these items and they are not transferable outside the app.
5. Purchases
Crownfall is free to download and play. Any optional in-app purchases we may offer are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. All purchases are final except where a refund is required by law or granted by Apple under its refund policy. Requests for refunds of App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us.
Digital items and in-game currency are delivered to you immediately after purchase. Where you are a consumer in the European Union or another region with a statutory withdrawal (“cooling-off”) period, by completing a purchase you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the item has been delivered.
6. Intellectual property
The app and everything in it — including its name, logo, artwork, game design, mechanics, text, sound, and code — is owned by Solid Medio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any ownership of the app or its content. The Crownfall name and crown mark are our trademarks and may not be used without our written permission.
7. Availability and updates
We work to keep Crownfall running well, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crownfall is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solid Medio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or progress, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Crownfall. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Children
Crownfall is suitable for a general audience. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian, and you may only use the app with their consent.
11. Termination
You may stop using Crownfall at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence to use the app if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you live. Nothing in this section removes rights you have as a consumer under your local law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or authority of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of Crownfall after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
